Lil Uzi Vert is charting high.
The Pennsylvania rapper is opening this week’s Billboard 200 at #3 with his new album, “Eternal Atake 2.”
“Eternal Atake 2”, which many fans disliked per online discussions, sold 59K units in its first week, including 56,000 in streaming equivalent album units (76.43 million on-demand streams of the songs), 3,000 in album sales and the remaining in track equivalent album units. This marks Uzi’s fifth top ten debut.
The follow up to the 2020 favorite “Eternal Atake” arrives with a total of 16 songs that clock in at approximately 45 minutes. Much like “Eternal Atake,” the sequel continued the Heaven’s Gate-inspired theme.
What’s more? Tyler, the Creator logs his second straight week at #1 with “CHROMAKOPIA.” It’s the rapper’s first album to spend two consecutive weeks at #1, and second set to log at least two frames in the lead. The project earned 160,000 equivalent album units in the United States in the week ending November 7, according to Luminate.
