On July 25, NBA YoungBoy released his eighth studio album entitled “MASA (Make America Slime Again).”
Now, the first-week sales projections are in and the numbers are looking low. According to HitsDailyDouble.com, the album is on track to move only 51K album-equivalent units.
Many social media users expected this number to be higher.
“His fall off must be studied,” one X user claimed. “Holy flop,” someone else wrote.
“MASA” features guest appearances from Playboi Carti and Mellow Rackz, while its production was handled by his go-to engineer and producer Cheese, alongside LondnBlue, Mally Mall, Simo Fre, TnTXD, and several other producers.
News of the sales projections comes just a few weeks prior to YoungBoy’s upcoming “Make America Slime Again Tour.”
The tour will commence on September 1, 2025, in Dallas, Texas, and will conclude on November 12, 2025, in Seattle, Washington, consisting of 45 shows. It will be YoungBoy’s first in five years since his “Still Flexin, Still Steppin Tour” in 2020.
After he pleaded guilty to possessing a gun as a felon, NBA YoungBoy spent a year in prison before he was released earlier this year.
