Max B is back with a bang, releasing his first album since his release from prison.

Titled “Public Domain 7: The Purge”, the project is a star-studded showcase featuring 29 fresh tracks from the Harlem rap icon. Collaborations include major names such as A$AP Rocky, French Montana, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, Lola Brooke, Red Café, and the late Chinx.

In addition to original songs, the album offers freestyles over iconic beats like Drake and Jay-Z’s “Pound Cake”, Jeezy’s “Get Ya Mind Right”, and Gang Starr’s “Skills”. This marks Max B’s first full-length release since 2021’s “Negro Spirituals”, which dropped while he was still serving a 16-year sentence for his involvement in a 2006 robbery.

After years of waiting and several delays, the legendary rapper was finally released from prison last month. His homecoming was celebrated warmly by his longtime collaborator and friend, French Montana.

“Can’t make this up! My brother really came home on my B-day! Hamdulillah! Walked it down! No more free you,” French shared on Instagram, along with an emotional video of their reunion.

The reunion wasn’t just celebratory — the two also got right back to work. A clip shared by French shows them brainstorming in the studio for “Coke Wave 3.5 Narcos”, the latest installment in their collaborative mixtape series, which is slated for release on January 9. The duo has already teased fans with its lead single, “Make America Wavy Again”.

For now, fans can dive into “Public Domain 7: The Purge”, which is available to stream below.
