Mary J. Blige is gearing up to light up the Las Vegas strip with her very first residency.
The Grammy and Emmy-winning music legend revealed the exciting news on Monday (January 12), just a day after celebrating her birthday.
Titled “Mary J. Blige: My Life, My Story The Las Vegas Residency”, the show is set to launch on May 1 at Dolby Live inside Park MGM, featuring 10 performances scheduled through July.
The R&B trailblazer expressed her enthusiasm in a statement, saying she’s thrilled to bring this unique experience to life. She shared that the residency is something she’s long envisioned — an opportunity for fans from various cities, states, and countries to come together for an unforgettable journey.
“I’ve been so excited to announce this Vegas residency,” the “Family Affair” singer said in a statement.
“Creating a show like this has been something I’ve always wanted to do. It’s a chance to get my fans together from all over — different cities, states and countries — to experience something together. My Life, My Story will be just that — with some surprises for my fans that have been there through it all.”
