J. Cole is preparing to release his highly anticipated album, “The Fall-Off”, set to drop in early February.

However, that may not be the only project fans can look forward to — according to Jadakiss, there’s more in store.

During a recent episode of the “Joe & Jada” podcast with Fat Joe, the legendary LOX member revealed that J. Cole plans to release a mixtape before “The Fall-Off” hits on February 6.

Jadakiss shared that the mixtape features Cole delivering his lyrical prowess over some classic hip-hop instrumentals.

“Shout out to J. Cole. He got a project coming out called ‘The Fall-Off’ and he got a mixtape where he used some of The LOX [beats]. He rhymed over ‘Money, Power & Respect’ and he rhymed over ‘Can I Live,’” he said.

“He killed them shits. Cole is coming back in a major way. When you hear his bars, all [the backlash to his Kendrick Lamar apology] don’t matter. He’s coming crazy.”

Jadakiss’ remarks have sparked rumors that J. Cole could drop two projects in the coming weeks. Speculation points to a mixtape, possibly named “It’s A Boy”, arriving on January 28 — just in time for Cole’s milestone 40th birthday.

Interestingly, the title “It’s A Boy” was first teased by J. Cole himself back in 2020 when he initially announced “The Fall-Off”.

Adding fuel to the excitement, Cole recently released a track titled “Disc 2 Track 2,” which fans believe hints at either a double album or some accompanying project alongside “The Fall-Off”.

When Fat Joe mentioned his underwhelming performance in the 2024 feud with Kendrick Lamar, Jada responded by emphasizing the focus on artistry, noting that once you hear Kendrick’s lyrics, none of that other stuff matters.

He praised Kendrick’s intense delivery and stressed that it’s all about the music, suggesting the criticisms were driven by online chatter. Jada also shared his belief that Cole will reestablish himself among the “Big 3” with the impact of “The Fall-Off”.

As fans eagerly await what Cole has planned in these next few weeks, one thing is clear: his final chapter is shaping up to be unforgettable.
