Gucci Mane’s label signee Foogiano may have finally regained his freedom after reportedly serving a five-year prison sentence.

On April 21, 1017 Records producer SpiffoMadeIt shared an Instagram Story featuring a selfie with Foogiano, accompanied by the caption “No More Free Foo,” suggesting the rapper’s release.

Additionally, Foogiano’s personal photographer seemed to corroborate this development by posting on his Instagram Story, “Stay free, welcome home Foo.”

The rapper was sentenced to five years in prison in May 2021 following his arrest for tampering with his GPS ankle monitor and fleeing while on probation for a firearm-related charge.

Representatives for Foogiano have been contacted by Yo! Raps for official confirmation.

Foogiano remains one of the final two signees on Gucci Mane’s 1017 Global Music label, alongside Pooh Shiesty. This comes after Gucci Mane’s decision in October 2024 to streamline his label roster.

“I’m looking at my [profit and loss statement], and me being a businessman, I think that I’m going to have to release almost all of my artists, except for Pooh Shiesty and Foogiano,” Gucci announced.

“This is a decision I didn’t want to make. I thought about it. I could keep all of them under the contract. But I said, ‘Hey, f**k it, let’s just make the unselfish decision and let them take their talents elsewhere.'”

In a bizarre turn of events earlier this month, Pooh Shiesty was reportedly arrested on allegations of robbing Gucci Mane at gunpoint and coercing him into signing a contract release form. Further developments on this case remain pending.
