Foogiano wasted no time making waves after his release from prison, where he had served a five-year sentence.
Updating his Instagram profile picture to feature the latest mugshot of Pooh Shiesty, Foogiano appeared to publicly demonstrate solidarity with his 1017 Records labelmate, who is currently dealing with legal troubles of his own.
However, an Instagram post later shared by Foogiano stirred up additional speculation, with many questioning his purported views on 1017’s head honcho, Gucci Mane.
Foogiano reposted the following IG Story: “We doing our time and making it back to our [loved] ones without taking another n***a from theirs!!! We not respecting that rat s**t at all!! From the streets, to the state and the feds we standing on business!!! Welcome home cuh @foogiano !!”
“[black heart emoji] you even after the grave,” he wrote in addition to the Instagram Story repost.
There has been much speculation about the underlying meaning of this message. Some interpreted it as a broad statement against snitching, while others theorized it could be linked to rumors about Guwop reportedly being kidnapped and robbed by Shiesty.
As of now, the Georgia rapper has not addressed or confirmed any of these claims, leaving fans waiting to see if he will offer clarification.
For context, allegations have surfaced accusing Gucci Mane of snitching on Pooh Shiesty. Reports claim that the Memphis rapper, along with his father, Big30, and others, was recently arrested in connection to an alleged robbery and kidnapping involving Gucci over a dispute related to Shiesty’s record contract with him.
