Duane ‘Keefe D‘ Davis seemingly referred to Reggie Wright Jr. as a “rat” following Wright’s testimony on the second day of the Tupac Shakur murder trial. Wright, who previously served as the head of security for Death Row Records and was a former Compton police officer, provided key testimony.

Although theories have swirled around his involvement in Tupac’s death, Wright has consistently denied any role in the incident.

After Wright completed his testimony, cameras in the courtroom captured Keefe quietly muttering an expletive-laden accusation aimed at Wright as he exited the stand. This dramatic moment added tension to an already charged courtroom atmosphere.

Keefe D Calls Wright A “Fucking Rat”

Earlier that day, James ‘MOB James’ McDonald, another former security guard for Death Row Records, also testified. He expressed clear frustration during questioning, asserting that although he was present in Las Vegas the night Tupac was shot, he did not witness it and was irritated by questions about who he thought was responsible.

Addressing Keefe directly, McDonald declared his continued dislike for him but stated that he did not intend to contribute to his imprisonment.

McDonald clarified that his appearance in court was solely due to a subpoena, as he aimed to avoid contempt charges. He reiterated that he wasn’t part of Tupac’s entourage at the time of the shooting and was excused thereafter.

The trial is expected to span approximately six weeks. Keefe D could face a life sentence if found guilty of orchestrating the murder in 1996. A video capturing Keefe’s comment about Reggie Wright Jr. is available for viewing at the 6:35:09 mark.
