BigXthaPlug has been arrested again in Texas, this time for driving under the influence and possession of marijuana and a firearm.
On August 21, he was taken to Collin County Jail after being pulled over by Allen Police, according to reports. He’s facing charges for driving while intoxicated, possessing less than two ounces of marijuana, and unlawful possession of a firearm.
This incident coincided with the day he was supposed to perform at the Country Rising Festival in Canada. The festival’s organizers explained his absence on Instagram, mentioning a “personal emergency” as the cause.
Over the weekend, he appears to have been released, sharing his mugshot on Instagram with the caption, “THAT SH*T LITE [face palm emoji]ALBUM OTW…”
Previous Run-Ins With The Law
Nearly a year ago, X was arrested in Dallas in August 2025, when police found a firearm and marijuana in his car during a traffic stop. Earlier that year, in February 2025, he faced similar trouble when stopped in Texas for expired tags; police discovered marijuana and a gun after detecting the scent of weed.
His passenger at the time, Cleodist Landum — l ikely a relative — was also arrested due to an outstanding warrant in Bexar County related to marijuana charges and unlawful weapon possession.
X was later released on bond.
