Keith Jones, known as Flacka, revealed in court that Lil Durk never compensated him for his involvement in the planned attack on Quando Rondo. This revelation came during today’s segment of the rapper’s murder-for-hire trial.
Testifying in a Los Angeles courtroom on Monday, Keith Jones, also referred to as OTF Flacka, expressed his dissatisfaction with Lil Durk for not receiving payment for his part in the attempted hit on Quando Rondo at a Los Angeles gas station back in August 2022. Durante the incident, which targeted Rondo, his cousin Saviay’a “Lul Pab” Robinson tragically lost his life.
2022 Shooting Role According To Jones
Journalists Michael Blackshire and Trap Lore Ross, who are closely following Durk’s trial, reported that Jones stated fellow Only The Family (OTF) member Deandre “DeDe” Wilson had contacted him. Wilson had informed him that Durk was offering a $1 million bounty for anyone who succeeded in killing Rondo.
Jones noted that Wilson humorously remarked that the bounty payout would resemble a giveaway on an episode of Oprah Winfrey’s show, saying: “If you catch him, you get a million, you get a million, you get a million.”
Flacka mentioned that he repeatedly requested the money from Durk but never actually received it. He alleged that Durkio entrusted a portion of the money, initially $20,000, to their friend Boonie Moe for payment, which inexplicably reduced to $10,000. Nonetheless, Flacka asserted that Boonie never handed over any funds despite his numerous efforts to collect them.
“What did [Boonie Moe] say?” the prosecution asked Jones.
“He said he was going to give me 10 in a couple days,” Jones replied. “I said ’10?’ Looked at him and said, ‘I thought it would be more than 10.'”
“What were you thinking?” the prosecution asked, to which Jones responded, “I was surprised. I was kind of pissed.”
“To this day were you ever paid?” the prosecution queried. Jones replied, “No.”
Jones has become the second witness to give testimony against Durk. Just last week, OTF Jam recognized Lil Durk in court, linking him to the killing of Quando Rondo’s cousin.
