The trial of Kewon White has begun as he faces a capital murder charge in relation to the killing of Mo3.

The rapper’s life was tragically cut short in an ambush on Interstate 35E in Dallas. Video footage captured the harrowing moments of Mo3 fleeing down the freeway as a gunman pursued and ultimately shot him multiple times with a rifle.

On September 31, Cedric Bradley, a friend of White, appeared as a state witness. He testified that Kewon had confessed to the shooting. Bradley recounted White boasting that he was “the one that did that work on the rap n***a on the freeway.”

“I was like, how do you do that on the freeway? And that’s when he broke down and told me that he had pulled up on the side of him or whatever, rolled down the window, shot the gun at the car. Sh*t, that’s when the car stopped, and then buddy hopped out. Said when he hopped out, he had already figured that he had him, so he jumped out, fired a couple shots at him,” he said.

Key Witness Takes Stand In Mo3 Murder Trial

Bradley remembered White describing how he persistently pursued Mo3 and kept firing until he saw him collapse.

“After that, I tell him like, ‘damn, you did all that on the freeway or whatever and you ain’t got no money? He was like, ‘shit.’ He wasn’t trippin,’” Bradley continued. “After that, I tell him like that ain’t how it’s supposed to go, n***a. If you gonna get out and do some work, you need to get paid at least some of it.”
