2 years ago today, the music industry mourned over the passing of Rich Homie Quan at the age of 34.

Quan was one of the biggest names in Hip-Hop in the mid-2010s. He gained mainstream fame through the trap singles “Flex” and “Type Of Way,” which became such a success that several other rappers jumped on the remix, including Jeezy and Meek Mill.

He also collaborated with several big names in the industry, including 2 Chainz, Young Thug, Gucci Mane and Trinidad James.

The cause of death for the 34-year-old Atlanta artist was from a slew of drugs such as fentanyl, alprazolam, codeine and promethazine.

Quan is survived by his five children, his father and his girlfriend.

May he rest in peace and his legacy continue to be remembered.
