Gucci Mane has officially announced the partnership of The New 1017 label and Atlantic Records, along with today’s release of his eagerly awaited new compilation mixtape “So Icey Summer.”

The compilation mixtape celebrates Gucci Mane’s The New 1017 record label and his first signees:  Foogiano, Pooh Shiesty, Big Scarr, and So Icy Girlz (K Shiday & Enchanting). The seasoned A&R who’s often credited with helping establish now hugely successful artists is taking his eye for the next big thing to his own label. Rising ATL-based artist Foogiano became the first artist signed to Gucci Mane’s The New 1017, and his signing was soon followed by even more fresh talent hand chosen by Atlanta rap icon Gucci Mane.

“So Icey Summer” includes the brand-new Foogiano track “Breasto.” In addition to new tracks from Gucci Mane including “Who Is Him (ft. Pooh Shiesty),” the mixtape also features new music from an array of rising artists signed exclusively to The New 1017 including “Make A Play” from Big Scarr. In addition to showcasing his 1017 signees, the stacked mixtape also includes features from Future, 21 Savage, Young Thug, Lil Baby, and more. 

The compilation mixtape also includes Gucci Mane’s recently released hit tracks, “Both Sides (ft. Lil Baby)” and “Still Remember (ft. Pooh Shiesty).” The mixtape further features Foogiano’s “The Plan,” recently released tracks from Memphis, TN-based rapper Pooh Shiesty “Monday To Sunday (ft. Lil Baby & Big 30),” “Main Slime Remix (ft. Moneybagg Yo & Tay Keith),” and “ABCGE (ft. BIG30),” as well as So Icy Girlz’s “1st Day Signed,” and the team effort “SoIcyBoyz” by Big Scarr, Pooh Shiesty, and Foogiano.
