YG has drawn inspiration from a familiar setting for his latest venture, announcing his upcoming seventh studio album, “The Gentlemen’s Club”.

The Compton rapper, well-acquainted with gentlemen’s clubs around the world, shared the news on Wednesday (May 27), revealing the album’s title and its impending release set for June 19.

Accompanying the announcement, YG unveiled the album’s cover art. The striking image features him dressed in a sharp suit jacket, wearing a single black glove, and gazing intensely into the camera while making a gun gesture against his temple.

Marking a major career move, YG has also entered a new partnership with 10K Projects for this album. This deal marks his first major label arrangement in nearly five years since his long tenure with Def Jam, signaling a new chapter in his music journey.

The 36-year-old’s latest body of work was the “JUST RE’D UP 3” mixtape, released in 2024. The double-disc compilation included collaborations with artists like Lil Yachty, G Herbo, Mozzy, Babyface Ray, Tee Grizzley, Ty Dolla $ign, Saweetie, and Mustard.

Before this, YG dropped his most recent studio album, “I Got Issues”, in 2022. The project peaked at #18 on the Billboard 200, underscoring his sustained presence in the music scene.
