Harlem rapper Ma$e is a veteran in the Rap game with three studio albums in his discography. He made a name for himself thanks to his 4x-platinum debut project tiled “Harlem World.” Ma$e was a member of Diddy’s Bad Boy Records roster in the late ’90s. He retired from Hip-Hop in 2009 to pursue a career as a pastor. He then became an ordained minister at Clark Atlanta University.

Now, Murda Mase returns with a new track called “Oracle 2: The Liberation Of Mason Betha,” a nod to his government name. On “Oracle 2,” Ma$e trashes his former label boss, accusing him of exploiting Biggie’s death.

Ma$e spits, “Yeah, I’m just a Harlem n-gga reppin’ down a Vegas strip with my own Suge/ You from Mt. Vernon, n-gga, go and rep your own hood/ I’m not hating on your Billi worth/ Right now, I’m only saying what you really work/ You ain’t no architect/ You just a n-gga who know how to market death.”

As far as Ma$e’s relationship with Diddy, he aired out some of his grievances in 2020 via a since-deleted Instagram post.

“Your past business practices knowingly has continued purposely starved your artist and been extremely unfair to the very same artist that helped u obtain that Icon Award on the iconic Bad Boy label,” he wrote. “For example, u still got my publishing from 24 years ago in which u gave me $20k. Which makes me never want to work w/ u as any artist wouldn’t.”

Ma$e also revealed that he offered Diddy $2 million for his masters, but the Hip-Hop mogul would only oblige if he could beat the “European guy’s” offer, even though Diddy supposedly paid just $20,000 over two decades ago.
