Multi-talented singer-songwriter K. Michelle is not here to play any games.
The popular Tennessee singer releases her new single entitled “Wherever The D May Land”, featuring fellow Memphis native and rapper Gloss Up via MNRK Urban.
Produced by Peter Eddins and KP, the track is a testament to K. Michelle’s ability to create empowering and relatable music for her fans, and it has already become a fan favorite among her fans, aptly called Rebels.
In the song, K Michelle makes her position very clear as she sings: “Wherever the d**k may land/I ain’t fighting for no man/This s**t out my hands/Wherever the d**k may land” and “He ain’t nothing special I just wanted him for sex/Put a line through that n***a yeah that’s why he’s called my ex/Like whose next I aint impressed I could never be upset/If I had him you can have him I am never gone.”
The accompanying video was produced by Shot Clock Production and co-directed by Sam Green and Richard Brickus.
“Wherever The D May Land” marks the third single off her highly anticipated and final R&B album entitled “I’m The Problem” and follows the #1 hit single “Scooch” and recently released track “You.” Both tracks have been well received by fans and critics alike, leaving many eagerly awaiting the album’s release.
