Lil Wayne and 2 Chainz have officially announced the release date of their anticipated collabo album, “Welcome 2 Collegrove.”

The joint record is set to be released on November 17 via Def Jam and serves as the sequel to their 2016 collab project, “ColleGrove.” The title is a portmanteau of 2 Chainz’ hometown (College Park, Georgia) and Wayne’s hometown (Hollygrove, Louisiana).

“ColleGrove,” which was technically billed as 2 Chainz’s third studio album due to Wayne’s label issues at the time, dropped in March 2016 and went on to peak at #4 on the Billboard Hot 100 and #2 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums charts.

2 Chainz and Lil Wayne have been close friends and collaborators for nearly two decades, since Wayne first showed up in 2007 as a feature on the street classic “Duffle Bag Boy” by Playaz Circle. The single hit #2 on the Billboard Rap chart, and Top 15 on the Hot 100.

The two rappers also shared the first single from the project, the Bangladesh-produced “Presha.”
