Turning the page on another chapter, two-time Grammy Award-nominated rapper Fetty Wap returns with a brand new single entitled β€œ1738” featuring Coi Leray, out now via 300 Entertainment.

It heralds the arrival of his anxiously awaited full-length offering and first album since 2015, “KING ZOO,” coming Black Friday (November 24). Fetty has teased the impending arrival of his sophomore album for years now. Fittingly, he settled on a release date with sentimental value as November 18 was the anniversary of his most recent viral single β€œSweet Yamz.”

Both Fetty and Coi notably hail from New Jersey, giving the record special significance as a hometown anthem. Together, they channel the Jersey Club sound with a propulsive beat and energetic vocals. Additionally, the album title reference his iconic and memorable β€œ1738” tag, which has adorned the biggest hits in his growing catalog.

On the track, bright keys set the tone for the track as a danceable beat kicks into high gear. Fetty’s instantly recognizable croon practically melts into the warm production as he flexes his expansive range. Meanwhile, multi-platinum star Coi Leray rolls through with a hypnotic vocal as she notices, β€œBaby, I see your eyes watching me.” They lock into a smooth and stunning back-and-forth anchored by sizzling interplay.

It provides the perfect precursor to “KING ZOO.” The album marks yet another evolution for Fetty. Given the length of time between full-length releases, he hoped to offer up the record as a gift to fans, feeding the culture with a bevy of bangers. Fittingly, the album artwork speaks to his coronation as hip-hop royalty with its Renaissance era depiction of a king.
