Beyoncé has officially launched a new era of music.

The 32-time Grammy Award winner has released two tracks from the second act of her “Renaissance” project, after teasing the new music during a Super Bowl advert.

While the Kansas City Chiefs fought to stay on top, Beyoncé herself had a big night appearing in a Verizon Super Bowl ad about breaking the internet, which later set the tone to her surprise new album announcement.

Beyonce, who watched the Super Bowl game in Las Vegas alongside her husband Jay-Z and daughters Blue Ivy and Rumi, posted a video on her Instagram teasing “Act ii” moments after the advert aired.

The new music, which appears to lean into a country theme, is set to be released on March 29. The upcoming album is the singer’s eighth studio album.

The 42-year-old then dropped two songs titled “Texas Hold ‘Em,” referencing the poker game named after the singer’s home state, and “16 Carriages.”

“Fifteen innocents was gone astray / Had to leave my home at an early age / I saw mama praying, I saw daddy grind / All my tender problems, had to leave behind,” Beyoncé sings in the chorus of “16 Carriages.”

The upcoming country-themed LP is the second part of a trilogy project that began with “Renaissance,” her seventh studio album, which came out on July 29, 2022.
