LL Cool J is back in business.

The new single entitled “Saturday Night Special” marked his official return to wax, produced by Q-Tip and featuring Hip-Hop heavyweights Rick Ross and Fat Joe.

LL raps, “So many different hustlers you meet in the game, s**t is cold, don’t put your trust in ’em, let me explain/ The greedy killer, he wanna f**k h**s and get the money, but he quick to feel disrespected/ One slip of the tongue, wrong words selected, bullets drillin’ in your melon when you least expect it/ No. 1 priority, self-preservation, that applies to majority different situations…”

Speaking about the song, the iconic New York rapper said: “‘Saturday Night Special’ is just the beginning. There’s a lot more where this came from, and I’m hype for y’all to hear this new record. We’re doing this for the fans and for Hip-Hop culture.”

It’s not the first time LL and Fat Joe have connected. The pair of New Yorkers collaborated nearly three decades ago back in 1995 on “I Shot Ya,” which landed on LL Cool J’s “Mr. Smith” album.

“Saturday Night Special” is the first single to be released from LL’s 14th studio album, “The FORCE (Frequencies Of Real Creative Energy),” set for release this fall following an over a decade long hiatus.
