Eminem has officially announced the release date for his upcoming album entitled “The Death Of Slim Shady (Coup De Grâce).” The project will arrive on July 12.
The Detroit rapper unveiled the news in a one-minute teaser that sees the chaotic birth of a baby who immediately needs medical attention. Just when it seems like all hope is lost, the baby transforms into a horned-being.
News of the release date comes just ahead of the release of the project’s second single “Tobey,” which features Big Sean and Babytron. The song, which drops tonight, will be accompanied by a Cole Bennett-directed video and is likely named after Tobey Maguire based on a lyric from that song’s teaser.
“Tobey” follows “Houdini,” which saw Em and friends such as Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, 50 Cent, the Alchemist and even Pete Davidson pay homage to “Without Me.”
