The first posthumous project from Rich Homie Quan has been released.

Entitled “Forever Goin In,” the anticipated album is a lengthy compilation of Quan’s recent tracks. The LP was announced to fans of the deceased rapper on social media hours before its release.

The announcement was accompanied by a note that appeared to be written in Quan’s voice: “34 listed songs ironically that’s the age I… 🕊️🙏🏿😔bonus 1 extra, because tomorrow will forever be a celebration! My GIF to my Fans.”

“Forever Goin In” clocks in at 35 songs with guest verses from Skilla Baby, Lil Tjay, 2 Chainz, Plies, Sukihana, and more. It arrives just about a month after the rapper died at age 34.

During an interview, the rapper’s father Corey Lamar, who also worked as his manager, revealed that a collection of unreleased tracks exists.

“Quan had probably over 2,000 unreleased songs,” he said. “But once he gets in a mode to record, those songs become old to him. And when they become old he wants to focus on the new stuff. He has a catalog in the vault. He has a ton of music that the fans need to hear.”

Last week, the Fulton County Medical Examiner declared his death as an accidental overdose, finding traces of fentanyl, alprazolam, codeine, promethazine and THC in his system.

On September 5, 2024, Quan was found unresponsive by his girlfriend Amber Williams. After she called 911, he was rushed to Grady Memorial Hospital by paramedics, where doctors pronounced him dead.
