GloRilla‘s anticipated debut studio album entitled “Glorious” has accumulated the highest first-week sales of any album released by a female rapper in 2024.
“Glorious” premiered at #5 in this week’s Billboard 200 chart
The female rapper’s latest record earned a total of 69,000 equivalent album units in its first week, including 56,000 in streaming equivalent album units (77.98 million on-demand streams of the songs), 12,000 in album sales and 1,000 in track equivalent album units.
“Glorious” marks the Memphis raptress’ first top 10 entry and her highest-charting album so far.
Several women in Hip-Hop have released studio albums this year, including Megan Thee Stallion, whose self-titled release sold 64,000 album-equivalent units in its first week. Latto’s “Sugar Honey Iced Tea” sold 29,000 album-equivalent units the week of its release.
“Glorious” features guest appearances from Latto, Sexyy Red, Muni Long, Kirk Franklin, Kierra Sheard, Chandler Moore, Megan Thee Stallion, BossMan Dlow, T-Pain, and Fridayy.
