Playboi Carti‘s winning streak continues!

The Atlanta rapper’s latest album “Music” is the first Rap album of 2025 to sell over 1 million units.

The long-awaited project had a successful opening, topping the Billboard 200 at release with first week sales of nearly 300.000 copies.

This makes the record eligible for platinum certification from the RIAA, however no official announcement has been made so far.

Drake and PARTYNEXTDOOR’s LP, “$ome $exy $ongs 4 U” has also sold one million copies since its Valentine’s Day release but it is much more of an R&B album
