BigXthaPlug, whose legal name is Xavier Landum, has faced yet another run-in with the law, marking his second arrest in just six months.

The North Texas rapper was taken into custody early Friday (August 22) on charges related to marijuana and firearm possession.

Dallas County Jail records indicate that BigXthaPlug was booked for carrying less than two ounces of marijuana and unlawfully possessing a firearm. This recent incident follows a similar arrest back in February, where he faced marijuana-related charges in Arlington, Texas.

According to an arrest affidavit obtained by FOX4, police pulled over BigXthaPlug’s vehicle for allegedly missing a front license plate. Upon inspection, officers reportedly discovered marijuana and two firearms inside the vehicle.

Thursday night (August 21), was poised to be a festive evening for BigX, marking the anticipation of his country-trap album “I Hope You’re Happy”, released the following day.

This Nashville-inspired project showcases BigX collaborating with a diverse lineup of country music talents, such as Jelly Roll, Luke Combs, Shaboozey, Ink, Tucker Wetmore, Thomas Rhett, Ella Langley, Bailey Zimmerman, and Darius Rucker.
