Drake continues to demonstrate his admiration for 2Pac, and it seems the Toronto rapper may have added another historic piece to his collection — a jewelry relic tied to the legendary Death Row artist.
On Sunday (August 24), Drake shared a photo on Instagram featuring what seems to be 2Pac’s 1996 Death Row Records chain. The chain prominently displays the imposing Death Row Records logo adorned in diamonds, while the back of the golden pendant includes an inscription that reads, “All Eyez on YOU 1996.”
To amplify the connection, Drake included a shot of 2Pac’s iconic “All Eyez On Me” album cover in the same post. The cover famously features Pac flaunting the chain during his time with the label.
The post drew attention from notable rappers such as Moneybagg Yo, Gashi, and Gillie Da Kid, who voiced their approval in the comments. Former Death Row artist Daz Dillinger also weighed in, writing: “I GOT MINES WHATS NEW ABOUT SOMETHING OLD ITS LIGHT DIAMONDS NOT HEAVY. LOL FUC DEATHROW.”
This isn’t the first time Drake has showcased rare memorabilia associated with 2Pac. Earlier in 2023, he revealed ownership of a gold, ruby, and diamond crown ring that once belonged to the West Coast Rap icon.
Sotheby’s confirmed that Drake acquired the ring for an astonishing $1.1 million. The ring holds significant historical value as it was worn by Pac during what would be his final public appearance at the MTV Video Music Awards in 1996.
