Drake brings the laughs in his latest return to acting with a cameo in “The Office Movers”.
The Toronto rapper, known as the 6 God, teased a snippet from his appearance in season 2 of the comedy series, which premiered on the Canadian streaming platform Crave on Friday (November 7).
Drake shared a hilarious clip from the episode on Instagram, showcasing a comedic misunderstanding between himself and Jermaine “Jae” Richards, one of the show’s creators.
In the scene, Drake repeatedly asks, “You guys have movers, but do you guys have guys? You know, like real guys.”
What unfolds is a tongue-in-cheek back-and-forth where the two clearly interpret the term “guys” very differently. At first, Drake thinks it’s all a joke but soon realizes they’re simply not on the same wavelength.
Adding his signature humor to the exchange, Drake riffs on their confusion: “It’s not making sense to you? Maybe I’m not even speaking English. I don’t know. Maybe I’m speaking Guyanese. Everything we use to live is made in Guywan. I’m losing it, bro.”
His comedic delivery draws comparisons to Justin Bieber’s infamous “it’s not clocking to you” moment.
The cameo brought a wave of laughter online, with several of Drake’s peers in the music industry joining in on the fun in the Instagram comments. Boi-1da, Oz, Reese LaFlare, Chinese Kitty, and Niko Brim all chimed in with their amusement.
Season 2 of “The Office Movers”, created by brothers Jae and Trey Richards, follows their humorous adventures working for a Toronto-based office moving company. The new season dropped in its entirety on Crave, continuing the comedic charm that fans have come to love from the series.
