Big Sean has addressed rumors suggesting a breakup with Jhené Aiko following speculation sparked by a recent video.

The rapper took to X to respond to a fan’s question: “You broke up with the queen over a powdered donut, my n—a?”

This was in reference to a clip featuring Big Sean standing next to an unknown woman during his meeting with streamer N3on on Sexyy Red’s livestream.

Sean clarified the situation, replying: “No. It’s pretty funny how the internet can give life to things with no confirmation. I’m sending love to everyone tho.”

He also mentioned that he had never met the woman before, explaining she was actually accompanying producer Hit-Boy.

In the comments of another post showing the two together, Sean further elaborated, saying: “Yeah unfortunately I never met this person in my life lol.”

“This girl was standing next to @hitboy who is cut out the video. I dont know why the f—k she was so close to me though. I didnt see it at all til i saw this video and can understand the frustrations. Smh [crying laughing emoji] But i dont even know this person at all.”

Rumors of a split between Big Sean and Jhené Aiko emerged earlier in the week. The pair shares a two-year-old son named Noah Hasani. Having met in 2012 and developed a close friendship, their relationship became public knowledge in 2016.

Until now, neither had officially addressed the breakup claims.
