During an interview with Vanity Fair, Flacko revealed he collaborated with legendary composer Danny Elfman on the project. Sharing details with co-stars Callum Turner, LaKeith Stanfield, Glen Powell, and absent Jeremy Allen White, Rocky noted: “…[Elfman] just did my album with me that I’m putting out this year. He scored a bunch of the songs on my new album.”
This album marks Rocky’s first studio release in eight years. Despite its prolonged absence, it remains highly awaited by fans. Originally set for August 30, 2024, the release was postponed to an unspecified date later that fall, adding to the anticipation surrounding its arrival.
In addition to his music career, Rocky has been dedicating more attention to acting. He sees acting as an integral part of the broad spectrum of the arts, describing himself as a Renaissance man committed to exploring diverse roles with passion and creativity.
