DJ Premier has officially revealed the release date for his collaborative album with Nas, part of the Legend Has It series.
During a tour stop with The Alchemist in Bristol, England, DJ Premier excited fans with the announcement, asking: “How many people are ready for that Nas Premier album?” He enthusiastically added, “December 12 get ready motherf*cker”
Hints about the album’s release had previously surfaced during New York Comic-Con, where Nas teased the project. Statik Selektah also shared a flyer outlining the rollout schedule for Mass Appeal’s “Legend Has It” series.
According to the flyer, De La Soul’s and Big L’s albums were slated for October and November releases, respectively, while the Nas and DJ Premier collaboration was set for December 2025.
Specific details like the tracklist, runtime, or features haven’t yet been disclosed. The Nas and Preemo collaboration album has been hinted at for months, particularly following the release of “Define My Name“ last April.
Fans of DJ Premier and Nas can look forward to their highly anticipated record arriving on December 12.
