50 Cent recently revealed a sneak peek of his interview with Robin Roberts on “Good Morning America”, where he opened up about his latest project: a Netflix documentary focused on Diddy.
In the teaser, Roberts described the “long-standing feud” between the two, which serves as a backdrop for the documentary titled “Sean Combs: The Reckoning”. However, 50 Cent humorously downplayed any hostility in an accompanying Instagram and X post.
He stated, “What feud, I put two of his kids in my scripted TV shows. I just didn’t like he said fruity shit to me. 🤨and he said fruity shit to me, I don’t like that! LOL @50centaction DEC 2 Netflix.”
Over the years, 50 Cent has taken frequent digs at Diddy, particularly following a lawsuit filed in 2023 by Cassie, alleging years of abuse. This ongoing commentary intensified when Diddy, founder of Bad Boy Records, faced legal troubles last year.
After being arrested and charged with two counts related to prostitution, Diddy was convicted and sentenced in October to four years in prison, followed by five years of supervised release.
50 Cent has spent over a year developing “Sean Combs: The Reckoning”, which aims to explore allegations tied to Diddy. As executive producer, 50 Cent has kept his followers updated, building anticipation for the four-part series. Directed by Alexandria Stapleton — known for her work on “How Music Got Free” and “God Save Texas” —the documentary promises a deep dive into the controversy.
Sharing his commitment to authentic storytelling, 50 Cent said: “I’ve been committed to real storytelling for years through G-Unit Film and Television. I’m grateful to everyone who came forward and trusted us with their stories, and proud to have Alexandria Stapleton as the director on the project to bring this important story to the screen.”
