50 Cent has expressed his desire to collaborate once again with his longtime partner-in-music, Eminem, this time bringing their synergy to the cinematic world.
The rapper and entertainment mogul recently shared that he hopes to involve Eminem in creating fresh music for the soundtrack of the upcoming “Street Fighter” movie, in which 50 Cent is slated to play the iconic boxer Balrog.
Over the weekend, 50 Cent took to Instagram to pitch the idea, posting that he plans to bring Eminem on board for the project.
He shared, “I’m gonna get @eminem on deck to make some music for this movie Street Fighter. New music on the way!”
Although there hasn’t been any formal confirmation of Eminem’s participation yet, the possibility seems plausible given their history of successful collaborations and shared ties through Dr. Dre’s Aftermath label.
This announcement adds to an already eventful period for 50 Cent, who has recently been in the spotlight for his involvement in Netflix’s controversial docuseries “Sean Combs: The Reckoning”.
