One month after a group of armed robbers invaded the Florida home of rapper 6ix9ine and held his mother hostage, authorities have arrested and identified a suspect connected to the crime.

Pedro Rodriguez, 19, has been taken into custody and faces multiple charges, including armed home invasion robbery with a firearm, false imprisonment, grand theft, and possession of marijuana with intent to sell or distribute.

However, Rodriguez is not believed to have acted alone, as the investigation remains ongoing with additional suspects yet to be apprehended.

Security footage obtained by TMZ captures the suspects entering the home through the garage. In the video, one individual is seen dragging 6ix9ine’s mother as she desperately cries for help.

The Palm Beach Sheriff’s Office detailed that deputies responded to reports of a home invasion in progress. Upon arrival, they spoke with several people at the residence who revealed that four masked suspects armed with handguns had forced entry into the home.

They stated that 6ix9ine’s mother was physically restrained outside the property while the rest of the intruders ransacked the interior, demanding cash and car keys.

A K-9 unit search of the residence and surrounding area failed to locate the suspects, leading authorities to believe they fled the scene in a vehicle before law enforcement arrived. The investigation continues as officials seek to apprehend others involved in this crime.
