In December, 21 Savage sparked conversation by advocating “f*ck the streets” on social media, encouraging reconciliation between Young Thug and Gunna.
However, NBA YoungBoy has expressed his reservations about the movement during a recent interview with Complex.
YoungBoy made it clear he isn’t aligned with the campaign. “I don’t give a f*ck about that,” YoungBoy said of the slogan. “I love the streets, I come from the streets., I ain’t on all that p*ssy ass sh*t.”
While his response was unapologetically direct, YoungBoy did emphasize his stance against gun violence.
“Stop the violence, same sh*t I’ve been on,” he said. “It ain’t got nothing to really do with touting a gun. I ain’t telling you to not tout your gun. But, you ain’t gotta have your gun and engage in bullsh*t. Have your sh*t because you love it and because you wanna protect yourself. That’s why I donate money to those type of things because I actually do care.”
The controversy unfolded when 21 Savage released his newest album, “What Happened To The Streets?”. Following the release, he took to XÂ to tag Young Thug and Gunna, urging them to put an end to their feud.
