Eminem has become a grandfather once again as his eldest daughter, Alaina Scott, recently welcomed a baby girl into the world. Alaina, whom Eminem adopted in the early 2000s, gave birth earlier this week, bringing joy to the family.
This marks the second time Eminem has embraced the role of grandparent. His biological daughter, Hailie Jade, had her own milestone last March with the birth of her baby boy.
Now, the family celebrates the arrival of Alaina and her husband Matt Moeller’s daughter, Scottie Marie Moeller, born on April 14.
On April 16, Alaina shared a heartwarming Instagram post showcasing baby Scottie dressed in a knitted onesie bearing her name across the front, a sweet moment that captured the family’s joy.
“My heart outside my body she’s everything and more Scottie Marie Moeller born 4/14/26 welcome to the world my sweet darling,” she wrote of her bundle of joy.
The 33-year-old shared the story behind the name Scottie, which is derived from the last name of her biological mother, Dawn Scott. Dawn was the sister of Kim Scott, Eminem’s ex-wife.
Dawn Scott tragically passed away in 2016 after struggling with drug addiction. Meanwhile, Eminem and Kim finalized their second and ultimate divorce in 2007 following a brief reconciliation.
“Scottie, in honor of my ‘scott sisters.’ The women who have given the name and my life so much meaning,” she wrote.
“May she now give it a meaning of her own and always know how loved she is, by mom + dad, and her aunties. To my husband, I can’t believe she’s ours. Thank you for giving me the greatest gift of my life. I love you endlessly.”
