Chris Brown‘s 12th studio album, “Brown”, is set to drop this Friday (May 8). On Tuesday, May 5 — marking his 37th birthday — the singer unveiled the star-studded lineup of collaborators featured on the album.
In a vintage, black-and-white trailer reminiscent of 1966, the Virginia-born artist showcased his impressive roster of features. The teaser reimagined his guest artists as classic R&B singers from a fictional event titled “A Night of Soul” at the “House of Brown.”
The album will see appearances from YoungBoy Never Broke Again, GloRilla, Vybz Kartel, Leon Thomas, Bryson Tiller, Tank, Fridayy, Sexyy Red, and Lucky Daye.
In total, “Brown” will include 27 tracks, incorporating previously-released singles such as “Obvious”, “Fallin'”, “Holy Blindfold”, and “It Depends”.
Later this year, Chris Brown is also gearing up for a highly-anticipated R&B tour alongside Usher. The 33-city tour will span stadiums across North America, beginning in Denver on June 26 and concluding in Tampa Bay, Florida, on December 11.
