The New York artist was a renowned rapper, influential radio personality, and legendary hype man, who made a significant impact on club and urban music.
With his powerful, gravelly voice and unparalleled ability to energize a crowd, he transformed the role of a hype man into an esteemed art form. During his career he also collaborated with a number of high profile artists, including Timbaland and David Guetta.
Tragically, he passed away at the age of 56 on August 30, 2024, after collapsing onstage during a performance in Hamden, Connecticut.
