The tension between Lil Durk and 6ix9ine has been longstanding.
When 6ix9ine faced his RICO charges, Durk didn’t hold back, labeling him a “rat.” Now, with Durk on trial for a murder-for-hire plot, 6ix9ine is seizing the opportunity to provoke.
Interestingly, 6ix9ine has become a recurring topic throughout Durk’s trial. An interview he did with Wack 100 and DJ Akademiks was played in court, during which 6ix9ine provocatively suggested Durk should avenge King Von’s death.
The prosecutors are using this to suggest that Durk felt pressured to retaliate.
OTF Vonni testified, adding more to the narrative about Durk and 6ix9ine. Vonni claimed that 6ix9ine’s viral comments aggravated the situation, intensifying the supposed revenge plot.
After this came to light, 6ix9ine took to Instagram, posting the phrase “Damn…rent free.”

This week has proven challenging for Lil Durk as his trial progresses. Both Flacka and Vonni have testified, directly implicating Durk in orchestrating the alleged murder-for-hire scheme.
Currently, Drew Findling is cross-examining Vonni, searching for inconsistencies in his testimony. By the end of today or tomorrow, the prosecution will conclude its arguments. Following this, closing arguments will proceed, leading to jury deliberations.
If found guilty, Durk could face a life sentence.
