It seems that J. Cole is throwing up the white flag in his feud with Kendrick Lamar.

The two-time Grammy winner apologized to Lamar for “7 Minute Drill” during a headlining set at Dreamville Festival in North Carolina.

Cole released his 3,5-minute diss track in response to Lamar’s feature on Future and Metro Boomin’s album, “We Don’t Trust You.”

While the internet stood divided over Cole’s unexpected diss, the Germany-born rapper reflected on the release, admitting he hasn’t been sleeping since the release of “7 Minute Drill” and will be removing the song from all DSPs.

“I’m so proud of that project except for one part,” Cole begins. “One part of that sh*t makes me feel like that’s the lamest sh*t I ever did in my f*cking life.”

“For the first time, I was tested. Why am I tested? Because I’ve got the world, and I’ve got my n*ggas like ‘What are you gonna do Cole?’ … I felt conflicted because I know I don’t really feel no way, but the world want to see blood.”

“I moved in a way that I spiritually feel bad on. I tried to jab my n***a back and keep it friendly, but at the end of the day, when I listen to it and when I see the talk, that sh*t don’t sit right with me with my spirit. That sh*t disrupts my f*cking peace. So what I want to say right here tonight, is that in the midst of me doing that – trying to find a little angle and downplay this n***a’s catalog and greatness – how many people here think Kendrick Lamar is one of the greatest motherf*ckers to ever touch the f*cking microphone?”

The crowd cheers as Cole continues, “Dreamville, y’all love Kendrick Lamar? As do I. I want to come up here and publicly say that was the lamest and goofiest sh*t … it made me feel like 10 years ago when I was moving incorrectly.”

Cole wraps up by sincerely apologizing to Lamar for the misstep, “I pray that my n***a didn’t feel no way, and if he did, I got my chin out. Take your best shot and I’ll take that sh*t on the chin, boy. Do what you do.”
