In a Friday court session, the judge inquired about the timeline for the prosecution’s case, asking federal attorneys about upcoming witnesses, including Examiner Jaung, and who would testify after “the final cooperator.” The judge noted that the government could adjust its plans as long as they coordinate with defense attorneys.

Assistant United States Attorney Ian Yanniello mentioned that the prosecution is likely to rest by Tuesday or Wednesday, “depending on cross-examinations [and] the cooperators.”

He highlighted that Special Agent Jaung’s testimony will be followed by another from Cody Burke. Additionally, Yanniello noted a “series of witnesses that will be shorter” related to the rapper’s alleged attempt to flee Chicago.

According to Blackshire, both Kevon “OTF Vonnie” Grant and Keith “Flacka” Jones are expected to testify this week. It remains to be seen if this schedule holds or if the process extends beyond the prosecutors’ anticipated timeline.
