The “Iceman” era is approaching fast. In a unique move to amplify anticipation, Drake has hidden the release date for his much-awaited album inside a colossal ice sculpture placed in downtown Toronto.
Drake took to his Instagram Story on April 20 to spark intrigue among fans, sharing a cryptic note that read, “Release date inside,” accompanied by coordinates pointing to a Toronto location.
The specified spot appears to be a parking lot at the intersection of Dundas Street East and Bond Street.
Soon after, the rapper posted an image of the monumental ice block on his Instagram page, confirming its location at 81 Bond Street.
Photos and videos surfaced later that afternoon, capturing construction crews assembling the glacier-blue structure piece by piece. Fans quickly took notice, further fueling excitement for the album’s release.
Drake has been dropping mysterious hints about Iceman on his Instagram Story in recent days. In one post, he shared a picture of himself stacking ice blocks with the caption, “It’s in.”
As temperatures rise, it seems Iceman is starting to crack, signaling that the long-awaited album’s release date is just around the corner.
